The South Lodge Hotel is an attractive Victorian Town House prominently positioned between several other charming period buildings, centrally located in Chelmsford. Although the exterior displays characteristics of the Victorian era the interior has been carefully refurbished and modernised to meet the needs and high standards of today's business and leisure travellers, without losing the warm, homely ambiance.

The Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the town centre and County Cricket Ground and is only a short distance from from the A12 and 14 miles from the M25. The South Bar and Restaurant located in the hotel is available for both guests and diners and opens out inyo our garden area, perfect for a morning coffee outside during the Summer months.

The Lounge bar is a great place for informal meetings or as a place to catch up with friends for a morning coffee. A bar menu is available for light snacks and meals during lunchtimes and evenings.
